These characters are designed to give hope and courage to pediatric cancer patients and their families, delivering the message that true happiness can be found in the process of treatment and healing.

Gomgomi and Friends Story

One day, the kind-hearted Gomgomi tells his mischievous friends the story of the “Wish Star.” According to the story, the first person to catch the falling Wish Star from the sky would have their wish granted. After hearing this story, each of his friends began to dream of their own wishes.

Dudu, the food-loving mole, wished for lots of delicious food to eat, Miko, the rabbit with a princess complex, wished to become even more beautiful, and Siksiki, the chattering monkey, wished to become muscular. Of course, Gomgomi himself also had a wish deep in his heart.

Then one day, a beautiful and small Wish Star fell from the sky, shining brightly and falling over the hill. Gomgomi and his friends, who had been eagerly waiting for the star to fall, knew that the Wish Star could only grant one person’s wish, so they ran as fast as they could to catch it.

The first one to grab the Wish Star was Gomgomi. He joyfully shouted and quickly picked up the glowing star. Dudu, Siksiki, and Miko, who arrived a little later, looked at Gomgomi with envious eyes, waiting for him to make his wish. Overcome with joy, Gomgomi raised the Wish Star high in the air, ready to make his wish, when something caught his eye.

On the hill, he saw a small hospital with one window brightly lit. Inside, he saw a little girl praying. Gomgomi remembered meeting that girl before. She was a sick girl who prayed every day to the stars, asking for her illness to be cured. Despite her illness, she was always a bright and cheerful girl.

Seeing the girl, Gomgomi wanted to help her get better. And his friends, who had been looking at Gomgomi with envy, also forgot their own wishes when they saw the girl and began to worry about her.

“Yes, this Wish Star is for the girl!” Gomgomi said. “If the girl gets better, we can all play tag together!”

Gomgomi, along with his friends, climbed the hill and knocked on the window of the hospital. The girl opened the door in surprise, and Gomgomi handed her the glowing Wish Star. “This is the Wish Star that grants wishes! Let’s make a wish for you to get better!” The girl was deeply touched by Gomgomi and his friends’ gift. She held the Wish Star tightly and prayed earnestly.

Suddenly, the Wish Star became dazzlingly bright. The light grew stronger and flew into the girl’s heart. The girl’s pale face began to glow, and miraculously, her illness was completely healed. Seeing this, Gomgomi and his friends jumped around the hill in joy.

By giving up his own wish for the girl, Gomgomi felt a sense of fulfillment as he saw the girl running around happily. Gomgomi and his friends continued to live happily, playing together on the hill as they had before.
