Epilepsy Clinic

The Epilepsy Clinic is an interdisciplinary team of experts from the Departments of Pediatric Neurology, Pediatric Radiology, Pediatric Neurosurgery, Nuclear Medicine, Pediatric Psychiatry, and Pediatric Rehabilitation who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with epilepsy.

Conventional EEG, 24-hour video EEG, and brain magnetic resonance imaging are used to diagnose and differentiate from other diseases in patients suspected of having epilepsy.

For the treatment of epilepsy in patients with intractable epilepsy, we perform 24-hour video EEG, brain MRI, single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT), positron emission tomography (PET), and genetic testing to determine the direction of treatment and whether the patient is a candidate for surgery, and to provide individualized treatment such as medication, ketogenic diet, and vagus nerve stimulation.

We strive to improve the quality of life of our patients by collaborating with experts in each field to treat various complications that can accompany epilepsy.
